About Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple
Kalpeshwar Mahadev is the fifth and final temple of the sacred Panch Kedar circuit. According to Hindu tradition, Lord Shiva's matted hair (Jata) appeared here, making Kalpeshwar one of the most revered Shiva temples in Uttarakhand.
The temple is located inside a natural cave surrounded by the scenic Urgam Valley. Pilgrims also visit the nearby Kalpavriksha tree and combine the journey with Dhyan Badri and other spiritual sites.
